The strengthening process

How do we see hardships as an opportunity for great joy in the midst of it?

The challenge

Starting this year with a death in the family, moving house, kids going to new schools, having new students to teach, and having my husband working out of town, made for a challenging start.

A friend asked me what was the most difficult move for me: I had to confess that while moving to New Zealand was tough, it was the move to our current location that was the hardest.

The growth

Looking back, I can see the Lord walking through every step with me. Enabling me to do things I never would have dreamt of doing. Challenging myself to be courageous, to keep my focus, and to not rely on my own strength.

Can you relate? What trails have you gone through recently and looking back, seeing the victory you had and how much it helped you grow?

Maybe you are in a growth season now. In whom do you place your trust to pull you through?

Declaring the Word

The Word of God has a transformative power. Yet, it’s not always easy to declare that you are not under your circumstances but above them. Thanking God that the victory is already yours through Christ Jesus, because that is what his word says.

But that is part of the victory. Our words matter. Don’t let the enemy rob you of speaking and declaring the truth.

Lately, I find that with every passing day of declaring God’s blessings and promises over myself and my family, it is having a transformative effect on me.

Have you done that? Can you see the growth?

I’ve asked a lot of questions in this blog post. Writing the answers may lead you to a great revelation about the goodness of God in your life.

Revelation 12:11 KJV
[11] And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto death.

Share your testimony with someone and help them grow on their faith journey.

May the Lord give you peace and bless you with abundance in all areas of your life.

Catherina
